Indian head resort

Last summer, Ruth and I took our kids on a road trip to the lovely Indian head resort in the foothills of the White Mt's.

Stepping out of our room we were greeted with this beautiful view!

There was a wedding earlier in the day, and the decorations were still up!

I took a few photos before the staff started removing them...

The kids had an absolute blast using the paddle boats on the lake. And I fell in love with the red footbridge.

And the reflections in the afternoon sun looked so serene and peaceful.

Standing on the bridge brought me an entirely new view of the waterwheel and the foothills...

And don't forget to look down! I almost stepped right on this bleeding heart fuschia! Do you see the purple in the background? It's the vibrant iris bunch in the photo below!

  The Indian head resort is very scenic, a lovely place to visit and central to most of the activities in the White Mt. region. If you're looking for a resort that offers lovely views and amenities for both children and adults, you won't want to miss this place.

And in case you wondered how it's name came to be.... Just look across the street from the resort and you'll see Indian head rock!
