Since we revisited some Fall foliage yesterday, let's jump ahead to Spring! I really love the feeling of Spring in New England. The trees budding, the riverside ferns starting to unfurl.
Everything seems fresh and light again. Some of my favorite subjects are flowers. Growing in a yard, growing wild on the side of a road, or even at the farmer's market!
I try to make sure that I'm adding something to the beauty of the flowers themselves. Adding a border to your photos can really make the subject pop!
Making a scrapbook page is a wonderful way to add to your memory book. And to share your photos as a postcard. Just print it out on card stock, if you don't have a laminator at home, you can use clear packing tape over the front side to protect your image from water damage or scrapes. Use the back of the card stock to address and send a message!
You can feel Spring arriving and hold it in your hand. My friend Carina had new chicks this past Spring, and I never turn away a photo opportunity! Think bunnies and chicks and goslings this Spring and find new life to capture...
And if the weather disagrees with your plans, stop at the grocery store floral department and pick up a bouquet to practice with at home!
